You are invited to an ongoing weekly men’s prayer time each Friday morning at 6:00am. We meet at T.J.’s Diner on Main Street and are finished by 8:00 am so you can get on to work This is an informal time to get to know other men, share common challenges, and pray for your needs and the church. Childrens Ministry
Our Children’s Ministry exists to reach out to the children in our community as well as the children in the Emmanuel fellowship. Our goal is to partner with parents in presenting the gospel, teaching the importance of scripture memorization and guiding children to an understanding of God and His love for them. Kids grades 1st-5th: Each Sunday morning at 10:30 am in W-209 and W-211
R.A.s & G.A.s
These groups for grade school boys (R.A.s) and girls (G.A.s) meet Wednesday nights to help kids learn about missions, missionaries and unreached people groups around the world. Come and help kids develop a mission mindset and begin to see how God can use them to help fulfill the Great Commission.
Awana Club
Is an exciting preschool and children’s ministry, we will begin this Fall. For those new to AWANA you can find out more about this evangelistic and discipleship-centered ministry by going to awana.org or watch the bulletin for more information coming soon. There is a leadership sign-up sheet at the HUB. Adults help us be ready to launch this new children’s ministry by signing up now.

CELEBRATION MINISTRY
This ministry provides leadership through music & drama inside and outside the church walls. It is comprised of several different areas: Choir, Ensembles, Praise Band, 4-3 -5 Kids Kwire and drama team.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Bible Study groups for every age group help us connect with God and grow as disciples of Christ. You can help someone else make that connection also? Teachers, assistants, care group leaders, outreach leaders, and ministry helpers of various kinds are always needed.
DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING
Sunday night and Wednesday night classes are offered throughout the year to help each of us grow in our relationship to Jesus Christ, one another, and the church. Various teachers and other ministry leaders are needed to help disciple others.
CHILDREN & NURSERY
Miss holding your grandchildren? Are your kids too old to sit in your lap? Come help mold the hearts of our youngest treasures. Share Jesus on their level- you can make a difference.
WELCOME TEAM
A smiling face, a warm handshake, and a friendly greeting make people feel welcome and provide a quick information reference for first time guests and members alike. Join us at the HUB Welcome center, in the parking lots, at the entrances, and in the worship center.
HOSTESS COMMITTEE
These lovely women and hard working men provide food and management for special events. If you feel comfortable in the kitchen and love to serve others – you’ll love this.
DECORATING
Ever wonder who is responsible for the beautiful decorations around the church? This ministry needs anyone who appreciates beauty and has a flair for this ministry.

This group provides opportunities to our fellowship to put words into action by sharing areas of needed support. These areas are local and state-wide as well as support and work in foreign countries.
BUILDING & GROUNDS
Looking for a ‘hands on’ ministry? This is the “behind the scenes crew.” Painting, cleaning, fixing, and building projects are just some of the things to be done around church. Flexible hours all during the week are available to fit your schedule.
DIVORCE CARE
This is a ministry to reach out and provide peace and healing through Jesus Christ to those suffering through separation and divorce.

FURNITURE MINISTRY
Sparked by a concern for those who, for one reason or another are in life transition, this ministry exists to be the hands and feet of Christ to hurting people. Whether a family has escaped from a crisis or for one reason or another is starting over, the FURNITURE MINISTRY is here to help. Volunteers collect used furniture from donors, log them in a storage facility, and then deliver pieces free of charge to families as the need arises.
LADIES SUNSHINE CONTACT
These women help extend the love, comfort and compassion of Jesus Christ. They visit newcomers, prospects, absentees, shut -ins and those in the hospital on Thursday afternoon.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD & ANGEL TREE
These two ministries involve Christmas and children. One (a project of Samaritan’s Purse) offers a chance to help the poor and needy children in other countries and the other provides the opportunity to help strengthen the parent/child relationship in local families with parents incarcerated. This ministry always proves that “it is more blessed to give than to receive.”
MEDIA
This team provides audio, video and other technical support in order to enhance our worship service. If you have audio, video or other technical skill or interest, this is for you.
PRESS ON MINISTRY / MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL
This ministry team offers relevant programs and events that connect students into relationships with Christ and one another. Lead a small group, create an event, be a builder of dreams.

Students from Kindergarten through 8th grade attend the Academy. These students excel in all subjects. Excellent leadership from the principal to the teachers continues to give the Academy high ratings in all areas.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
This is a fun & educational way for kids 1st through 6th grade to learn about Christ, some for the very first time. All ages can help; there is a rewarding position for anyone.
WMU
Founded in 1888, these ladies have devoted themselves to praying and raising money for the missionaries out in the field. At their monthly meetings, they join together to learn more about those serving in the missionary field and to offer prayers on their behalf.
ANIMAS CRISIS PREGNANCY CENTER
This ministry reaches out to young women promoting abstinence. They offer counseling and support before, during, and after pregnancy.
DISASTER RELIEF
This ministry mobilizes volunteers to respond to local, state, and national disasters. Relief is provided by feeding those suffering from disaster, providing chaplain care and recovery after a disaster has occurred.
GIDEONS INTERNATIONAL
Gideons seek to win men, women, boys & girls through personal witnessing and placement of Bibles in motels, hospitals. They also distribute testaments to school children, college students, prisoners, the military and purses.
HESPERUS CAMP
This is a retreat center for church, family and school groups in Hesperus, Colorado. Their ministry is to allow escape from the distractions of modem life and to encounter God in the peaceful wonder of His creation.
WE-ROC
This ministry provides support to women who find the need to begin life with a fresh start. Bible study, exercise and friendship are at the core of this new program.
PASSION PLAY MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL
From the 4 Comers of NM to the 4 comers of the world, this ministry presents the life of Christ “He’s Alive” through drama & music during the Easter season at the Farmington Civic Center. There’s a place for you in this ministry!
